Hesse: EUR 150,000 damage in the event of a fire in a vacant residential building

Bad Zwesten (dpa/lhe) - According to police estimates, a fire in a vacant residential building in Bad Zwesten (Schwalm-Eder district) caused property damage of at least 150,000 euros. No one was injured in the fire on Tuesday morning, according to the Schwalm-Eder police department. A witness noticed smoke at the house in the morning and alerted the fire brigade. Shortly thereafter, they extinguished the fire. Fire investigators are tasked with investigating the cause of the fire. The police are looking for possible witnesses.
