According to the police, five residents had to be examined because there was a suspicion of smoke inhalation. According to a spokeswoman, 172 people are reported in the accommodation. According to the police, the fire is suspected to be arson. A sofa that was in a hallway of the multi-storey building caught fire.
The fire could be extinguished. Eight residential units are no longer habitable due to the damage caused, it said. 20 residents had to be taken to another accommodation because of this. The damage is estimated at 150,000 euros.
