Rüsselsheim (dpa/lhe) - A 21-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a rear-end collision on the A60 near Rüsselsheim on Friday evening. According to initial findings, the woman drove her vehicle into the car of a 64-year-old for reasons that have not yet been clarified, the police said. First responders treated the seriously injured before the ambulance took them to a hospital.
Later, several cars were damaged by running over vehicle parts lying around. According to the police, both lanes in the direction of Mainz remained closed for about an hour and a half for the rescue and recovery measures.
