Offenbach (dpa/lhe) - The sunny Friday will be replaced by rain and sometimes snow at the weekend in Hesse. A light drizzle cannot be ruled out on Friday morning, but it will be clear and partly sunny during the day, the German Weather Service (DWD) said. The maximum values are six to ten degrees.
According to the meteorologists, it will be cloudy and partly foggy on Saturday night. There may be drizzle and sleet. The temperatures drop to zero to minus three degrees, in the mountains down to minus four degrees. The DWD warned of local ice.
Saturday starts heavily overcast, occasional light rain showers and snowfall at higher altitudes. The temperatures are a maximum of four to seven degrees, in the higher mountains at one degree. The trend of clouds and rain at lower altitudes and snow at higher altitudes continues on Sunday. The maximum values are again four to seven degrees, in the higher mountains at minus one to three degrees.
