Hesse: small plane crashes: pilot and co-pilot slightly injured

Gießen (dpa/lhe) - When a small plane crashed in Gießen on Friday, the pilot and co-pilot were slightly injured. The 79-year-old and the 73-year-old were taken to a hospital, the police said in the evening. The spokesman for the central Hesse police headquarters was initially unable to provide any information on the cause of the accident. "What we do know is that the plane somehow got stuck," the spokesman said. The pilot then attempted to steer in the opposite direction. As a result, the machine crashed to the ground.
