Hesse: Unknown attacks young people with a baton

Flieden (dpa/lhe) - A man attacked a 17-year-old with a baton in Flieden in the Fulda district in East Hesse and knocked him unconscious with his fist. The previously unknown person got involved when a group of young people quarreled at the train station on Sunday night, the federal police in Kassel said on Monday. Injuries to the 17-year-old's head and legs were then treated, but the teenager did not have to be taken to the hospital. The federal police are investigating and looking for witnesses.
