In a statement, the Devon and Cornwall police force (southwest of the country) revealed that they received a call around 01:00 in the morning (12:00 GMT) to report "a serious attack" that occurred in a building on the Blundell's boarding school facilities. School, in the town of Tiverton.

The police added in the note that the victims "had been assaulted and had suffered multiple serious injuries", for which "they have been taken to the hospital for treatment."

"It is now believed that all parties involved are linked to the school," Devon Police Superintendent Antony Hart said.

According to the BBC, the parents of other students at the center were informed that it was "an isolated incident".

The Blundell School has an annual cost of 41,325 pounds (about 48,187 euros) in the case of students who take advantage of the boarding system.
