Jill Biden, the US president's wife, took part outside Downing Street in a post-coronation luncheon on Sunday, like tens of thousands across the UK.
Welcomed by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty, the American First Lady settled with dozens of other guests in the courtyard of Downing Street, taking advantage of the mild weather for this outdoor lunch.
Other guests include volunteers, Ukrainian families and youth groups.
The day after the very solemn coronation of King Charles III, the British are invited on Sunday to gather at picnics and neighborhood lunches. More than 67,000 "Big Lunch" have been referenced across the country.
Coronation celebrations continue into the evening with a big concert in Windsor (west London), where Prince William, heir to the throne, and his wife Kate enjoyed a long surprise walkabout on Saturday afternoon.
