After Valérie Pécresse in 2022, it is Élisabeth Borne who is rewarded on Thursday February 16. In a press release, the jury justified its decision by emphasizing that "at the head of the government, but above all as head of a very relative majority, Élisabeth Borne quickly displayed the qualities that we had guessed in her, but with a resistance that little was suspected."
Élisabeth Borne therefore succeeds the LR presidential candidate and president of the Île-de-France region Valérie Pécresse, who received this prize in 2021, and the PS mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo, winner in 2020. After Sandrine Rousseau in 2021, the prize for "political revelation of the year 2022" is awarded to PCF boss Fabien Roussel.
The Minister Delegate for Public Accounts Gabriel Attal receives the "Minister of the Year" award, and the President of the Renaissance group Aurore Bergé that of "MP of the Year 2022". The "senators of the year" are Éliane Assassi (CRCE with a communist majority) and Arnaud Bazin (LR), and the prize for "local elected representative of the year" goes to the LR mayor of Cannes and president of the Association mayors of France (AMF), David Lisnard.
As for the "European of the Year 2022", the prize goes to Moldovan President Maia Sandu. Founded in 1981 by journalist Félix Colin, Le Trombinoscope is a professional directory of the political sphere, which awards an annual prize to outstanding political figures of the past year.
