Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: excavators worth 100,000 euros stolen in western Mecklenburg

Dreilützow (dpa / mv) - The police in the district of Ludwigslust-Parchim are looking for a stolen excavator. The large device worth around 100,000 euros has disappeared from a construction site in Dreilützow, as a police spokesman said on Thursday. The time of the crime was Tuesday evening to Wednesday morning. It is still unclear whether the thieves fled with the excavator themselves or even parked a larger transport device - such as a low-loader - nearby. Dreilützow is near Wittenburg north of the Autobahn 24 Berlin-Hamburg.
