Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: milk tanker crashed on ice: 250,000 euros damage

Zarrentin (dpa/mv) - Damage of around 250,000 euros occurred in an accident with a milk tanker in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district. As a police spokesman announced on Friday, the truck came off the road on Thursday when it was slippery on a state road in Testorf near Zarrentin and tipped on its side. The 67-year-old driver was taken to a hospital with a head injury. It took several hours to salvage the truck, and thousands of liters of milk were pumped into another vehicle.
