The club announced this on Thursday at a press conference two days before the start of the season at Schwarz-Weiß Erfurt. "She has a lot of experience, also internationally. She has the standing in the team and the social skills that you need in this role. She was the only logical choice," said coach Felix Koslowski about the decision for the national player.
Pogany, who is entering her fifth season at SSC and plays as Libera, said of her appointment: "It's an honor for me and it's also my first time." The 28-year-old emphasized that she would like to do justice to the responsibility of this task and added: "I think that we have lived certain values in the club over the past five years.
