Barlen also announced measures to be able to import various energy sources via the port of Rostock. Previously it was said that either oil or gas could be handled there.
The port in Rostock is also intended for hydrogen production, Barlen continued. "One focus - also in the investment planning of the state government - is the expansion of green and renewable energies in the field of hydrogen technologies." MV sees the current energy crisis as an opportunity and economic driver for the next few years.
