Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Unknown solve wheel attachment to ambulance

Wismar (dpa / mv) - Unknown persons apparently deliberately loosened wheel nuts in an ambulance that was deployed in Wismar. As a police spokeswoman said on Sunday, the incident was noticed on Saturday evening when the crew of the ambulance wanted to drive back after an operation in eastern Wismar. The driver noticed imbalances in the wheels and stopped. It was then determined that at least four wheel nuts on one wheel had been tampered with. This meant there was a risk that the wheel would detach itself while driving. The police are investigating dangerous traffic violations and are looking for witnesses.
