Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: With 180 things on the way - the police stop speeders

Demmin (dpa / mv) - Two men probably fought an illegal car race between Dargun and Demmin (Mecklenburg Lake District). The police stopped the drivers, who at times were traveling at 140 to 180 kilometers per hour and overtook dangerously several times, as the authority announced on Wednesday. The officials were able to stop the men on Bundesstraße 110 near Demmin shortly before midnight on Tuesday. According to the instructions of the public prosecutor, the driving licenses of the two 33 and 39-year-old drivers from the Demmin region were confiscated. They are being investigated, among other things, for endangering road traffic.
