He also recalled that there was "no alternative to Ukraine's victory" and referred to its "entry" into the EU and NATO.
For his part, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stressed that Germany's support is designed "to last a long time" and called on countries that can deliver tanks to "really do it". "Ukrainians are defending their freedom at great sacrifice and with absolutely impressive determination," he added.
Then, the French president took the floor to say: "We are ready for a prolonged conflict. Saying that, I don't want it. But especially if we do not wish it, we must collectively be credible in our ability to last in this effort. »
