Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the corona incidence in North Rhine-Westphalia was 458.4 on Tuesday. That was significantly lower than last Tuesday's comparative reading of 612.2. Within 24 hours, 19,706 confirmed new cases and 39 deaths related to the corona virus were reported in NRW. The incidence was highest in the state in Warendorf (674), lowest in the Rhein-Sieg district (273.5). The city of Cologne was 393, the state capital Düsseldorf 409.5.
However, the information only offers a very incomplete picture of the infection situation, as many cases are not recorded at all. This is because many sick people do without a PCR test and their infection is therefore not included in the official statistics.
