North Rhine-Westphalia: grain on federal road 1 near Werl: full closure

Werl (dpa / lnw) - Several tons of grain fell from a tractor trailer onto the federal highway 1 east of Werl on Thursday. The route from Werl to Soest had to be closed in both directions, as the police in the Soest district announced in the evening. Shortly before 6 p.m., the flap of the trailer suddenly opened and the grain got onto the road, it was said. The investigation into the cause had not yet been completed in the evening. The trailers with the loaded grain were pulled by a tractor.
