North Rhine-Westphalia: Grevebroich: One dead and two injured in an apartment fire

Grevenbroich (dpa / lnw) - A person died in an apartment fire in Grevenbroich-Allrath. Two other residents were slightly injured on Tuesday evening, the fire department said. When the fire brigade arrived, the apartment on the first floor of the apartment building was on fire. There she found a body. The identity of the dead and the cause of the fire were initially unclear. Four people had to be rescued using a turntable ladder, eleven residents had already left the house themselves. Around 60 emergency services were on site on Wednesday night to extinguish the fire. According to the fire department, the building is no longer habitable.
