North Rhine-Westphalia: Man after stabbing in mortal danger: perpetrators fled

Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - A 29-year-old man was critically injured in a violent confrontation in Dortmund. During the argument, an unknown person stabbed the man, who had suffered life-threatening back injuries, the public prosecutor's office and the police said on Tuesday. After an emergency operation, the man's condition was stable. The unknown perpetrator fled after the crime on Monday, and witnesses are now being sought. According to initial findings, the men are said to have known each other, but further backgrounds initially remained unclear.
