North Rhine-Westphalia: Man dies after falling from the second floor

Mönchengladbach (dpa / lnw) - A 26-year-old died in Mönchengladbach trying to leave an apartment on the second floor via the balcony. He fell. The police were alerted on Sunday night because there was a loud argument in the apartment and a woman called for help. When the officers gained access to the apartment, the man wanted to flee via the balcony, but fell into the inner courtyard of the apartment building. He was seriously injured and died shortly thereafter in the hospital, as reported by the police and public prosecutor in Mönchengladbach. The police in Aachen are investigating for reasons of neutrality.
