Lünen (dpa / lnw) - The body of a 44-year-old man was found on Monday near Lünen in the Datteln-Hamm Canal. The exact circumstances of the man's death were initially unclear, the police said. The "image" had previously reported about it.
A passer-by noticed an empty fishing chair on the bank of the canal on Monday morning, said a police spokeswoman. On closer inspection, he then noticed that a person was in the water. According to the police, the deceased 44-year-old comes from Lünen and has no permanent residence.
