North Rhine-Westphalia: Police officer injured in traffic control

Bonn (dpa / lnw) - A driver suddenly drove away during a traffic check in Bonn and injured a police officer. As a police spokesman said on Friday morning, the man is now being investigated for attempted homicide. The officer was slightly injured in the leg area in the incident on Thursday evening and was taken to a hospital in an ambulance. It was initially unclear whether she was hit or fell.
