Dülmen (dpa / lnw) - Several people were injured in a mass brawl at a rifle festival in Dülmen in the Coesfeld district on the night of Pentecost Sunday. According to a police report, a dispute broke out between members of the rifle club and a group of young people in the marquee. The young people then left the marquee at the request of the shooting committee. In front of the tent, however, the argument continued.
According to the police, ten members of the rifle club then got into an argument with around 30 unknown young people. Those involved punched and kicked each other. Four people were reportedly injured, two of the injured were taken to a hospital. The 30 teenagers were able to escape before the police arrived. In the course of their investigation, the police are now evaluating a video that was made of the altercation.
