Schmallenberg (dpa / lnw) - A car parked under a window probably saved the life of a small child in Schmallenberg in Sauerland. According to the police, the child opened the window himself and fell more than four meters on Monday. The car roof probably cushioned the fall. A rescue helicopter flew the child to a clinic in Siegen. Danger to life should not have existed. A police spokeswoman did not want to give any information on Tuesday about the exact age of the child and the nature of the injuries. The WDR had previously reported on the fall.
