North Rhine-Westphalia: Two accidents on the A44: A man seriously injured

Unna (dpa / lnw) - A man was seriously injured in a rear-end collision with three cars on Autobahn 44 between Unna and Werl. A police spokesman said there had previously been another accident involving two trucks and a car with a trailer in which no one was injured. However, the accident caused a traffic jam, so that a driver slowed down. A driver behind him didn't notice this in time, drove into the car and another car behind him. A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The A44 in the direction of Kassel was initially closed late Thursday evening, but was released again during the night.
