Essen (dpa / lnw) - Even after the Christmas holidays, it remains mild and changeable in North Rhine-Westphalia. Tuesday started with clouds and weak showers in the north, said the German Weather Service (DWD) in Essen. Sometimes the clouds thicken over the course of the day, sometimes they loosen up with maximum values ​​between five and eight degrees. During the night of Wednesday, some rain will set in from the north-west, which will spread to the south-east in the morning. The temperatures drop to six to two degrees. In the mountains, the meteorologists expect gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour.

On Wednesday it will be overcast with lots of clouds and rain. Later it can loosen up a bit, in the evening it will rain again from the west. With a mild seven to twelve degrees, there is no real winter weather for the time being.
