North Rhine-Westphalia: young people kick bikes: 72-year-old falls badly

Xanten (dpa / lnw) - A 72-year-old woman fell heavily with her e-bike in Xanten on the Lower Rhine (Wesel district) because two unknown young people are said to have kicked her bike. In the fall on Sunday afternoon, the senior broke a wrist that needs surgery, the police said on Monday. The senior citizen's daughter had previously reported the case that is said to have taken place on the circular route around the Xanten South Seas.

The only thing known about the young people is that they are both dark-haired and have a "dark skin tone on their legs". The cyclist only saw her from behind. After the fateful kick to the wheel, the duo reportedly laughed and walked on, ignoring the fallen woman.

A pannier that was on the bike is also missing. It is not known whether she was lost by the 72-year-old in the fall or whether the young people stole the bag.
