The Portland Police Department stated it was connected with the FBI within a menacing video which included a masked person with a modified voice issuing a threat from the town's mayor Ted Wheeler.

"Next time, it might just be your own."
The newspaper reported that the video appeared soon after Wheeler indicated he would have a tougher position against people who wish to ruin pieces of the town in the title of protest.
"The town is starting to recover, however, self-described anarchists who take part in criminal destruction do not want things to start up, to recuperate," Wheeler explained. "They wish to stop us from performing the job of creating a much better Portland for everybody. They would like to burnoff, they wish to celebration"
The Oregonian reported the person from the movie pledged that the unrest would last from town until Wheeler measures down.
"We aren't only challenging the notion of owning Ted as a mayor. We're challenging the notion of getting mayors in any way. We need abolition. Abolition is complete," the person in the video stated, according to the Post .
