The 50-year-old's nephew previously claimed he was in a relationship with him. According to media reports, a Puerto Rican court had already issued an injunction in connection with a domestic violence law against Martin in early July.
This provisional protection order will not be extended, "as we expected," said Martin's legal team in a statement that he published on Twitter. The plaintiff confirmed in court that he alone made the decision not to pursue the case - "without any outside influence or pressure". It was therefore never more than "false allegations".
