EL MUNDO has chosen Princess Leonor as Person of the Year 2023. And the Heir to the Throne has thanked the newspaper for its recognition, to which she wanted to send a few words. This is the first time that the Princess dedicates a text to a media outlet.
"An important year ends for me, with changes and new challenges," begins the Heiress, who notes that this year has been a turning point in her life.
"My commitment is to continue fulfilling my obligations and earning the trust of the Spanish people day by day, as I said on the 31st after the swearing in of the Constitution," continues the Princess.
"And this distinction from EL MUNDO encourages me on this path. Thank you, therefore, to all the people who are part of this newspaper. With my appreciation, Leonor, Princess of Asturias," he concludes.
