Saxony-Anhalt: Man seriously injured in robbery with baton and saber

Wernigerode (dpa/sa) - A 38-year-old was seriously injured in a robbery. Two men aged 35 and 39 are said to have broken into the man's apartment on Wednesday evening, a police spokesman said. They stole a backpack and injured the 38-year-old with a baton and a saber. The man sustained head and lacerations and was taken to a hospital. The two suspects were arrested by the police in Ilsenburg. You are in police custody.
