Schwarzenberg (dpa/sn) - The roof structure of an empty apartment building in Schwarzenberg in the Saxon Ore Mountains caught fire. The police are assuming that the fire in the Grünstädtel district was arson based on the current status of the investigation. Witnesses are said to have observed how two people left the empty house immediately before the fire on Thursday evening, the police said on Friday morning. No one was injured in the fire.
In the course of the extinguishing work, the B101 in the city of Schwarzenberg was closed for about an hour and a half. According to the police, the extent of the damage cannot yet be quantified.
