Saxony: E-bikes collide in Halsbrücke: woman seriously injured

Freiberg/Chemnitz (dpa/sn) - Two people were injured when two e-bikes collided in Halsbrücke near Freiberg (central Saxony). According to previous knowledge, a 70-year-old and a 68-year-old were driving in their vehicles on Tuesday afternoon on a slightly sloping road, as the police in Chemnitz announced on Wednesday. Shortly before the district of Oberschaar, the man saw a pair of sunglasses lying on the side of the road, obviously lost, and stopped them. The woman noticed that too late and drove up, causing both bikers to fall. The 68-year-old was seriously injured. She was admitted to a hospital. The man suffered only minor abrasions. The bikes were slightly damaged.
