Saxony: Fire in Crimmitschau causes 50,000 euros in damage

Crimmitschau (dpa/sn) - A fire caused damage of around 50,000 euros in Crimmitschau (Zwickau district) on Saturday night. According to the police, a pile of wood and a wrecked car had initially burned in the backyard of an apartment building. The fire spread to two other properties, damaging hedges, trees, a shed, a gazebo and a wooden deck. Nobody got hurt. An investigation was launched into the cause of the fire.
