Dresden/Brussels (dpa/sn) - EU Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen is a guest at a meeting of the Saxon cabinet in Brussels this Monday. The State Chancellery announced on Thursday in Dresden that the focus is on the European Chips Act for the semiconductor industry, a joint science conference of Saxony, Poland and the Czech Republic, the raw materials strategy of the Free State and the recruitment of international specialists. At the meeting, the government also wants to provide information on the status of preparations for Chemnitz as European Capital of Culture 2025. The Saxon government is in Brussels on Monday and Tuesday. A consultation with the Flanders cabinet is scheduled for Tuesday.
