Dresden (dpa/sn) - To deal with the energy crisis, the SPD in Saxony proposes a special fund of at least 3.5 billion euros. The SPD announced on Sunday that the "Saxony Package" should help people, companies, municipalities and clubs safely through the energy price crisis. The package of measures is intended to finance relief and hardship funds.
Saxony must live up to its responsibility and protect the social, cultural, educational and health infrastructure at municipal and state level, emphasized the chairmen of the SPD in Saxony, Kathrin Michel and Henning Homann, as well as the chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the state parliament, Dirk Panter. "We also have to secure the liquidity of Saxon companies and energy suppliers."
