Dresden (dpa/sn) - Several thousand supporters of the Fridays for Future climate movement demonstrated in Dresden on Friday. According to the police, they gathered at noon on the Neumarkt for an opening rally and then walked through the city together.
The Fridays for Future campaigns were also supported by the Verdi union, which is calling for more investment in local public transport. Overall, Fridays for Future planned demonstrations and rallies for climate protection in around 200 German cities.
