Aue-Bad Schlema (dpa/sn) - A driver crashed head-on into a car in oncoming traffic during an attempt to overtake on Saturday night - both drivers were seriously injured and taken to the hospital. The 18-year-old wanted to overtake a truck near Aue-Bad Schlema (Erzgebirgskreis), the police said on Saturday. He collided with the vehicle of a 49-year-old. The damage was estimated at around 28,000 euros. The road towards the A72 was closed for hours.
