Erfurt (dpa/th) - The Thuringian State Media Authority (TLM) is supporting the six community radio stations in the Free State with 971,000 euros this year. The community radio stations in Erfurt, Weimar, Nordhausen, Eisenach, Jena and in the city triangle of Saalfeld/Rudolstadt and Bad Blankenburg contribute to media diversity with their programs, the TLM explained on Thursday. The listeners rewarded the work of the stations with good usage figures.
According to its own statements, the TLM spends two million euros a year on activities in the community media and the promotion of media competence throughout Thuringia.
