Thuringia: Bicycles stolen for 10,000 euros

Weimar (dpa/th) - Two bicycles with a total value of around 10,000 euros have been stolen from a basement in Weimar. It is not yet clear whether the unusual theft in the night from Wednesday to Thursday is attributable to one or more perpetrators, as the Weimar Police Inspectorate announced on Friday. So far it is not clear how it was possible to get into the basement of an apartment building at the crime scene on Richard-Wagner-Strasse. The perpetrator(s) stole a high-quality cross-mountain e-bike and a trekking bike from the adjacent cellar compartments.
