Thuringia: Dispute over parked car: cyclist stabs tires

Jena (dpa/th) - According to the police, a 63-year-old cyclist in Jena is said to have punctured a tire of the car out of frustration at what he believed to be a wrongly parked car. He and the 51-year-old driver then got into a physical argument, the police said on Friday. Both men were slightly injured. In the incident on Thursday, according to the police, the cyclist is said to have rammed a screwdriver into the tire - exactly at the moment when the driver came to it. Summoned police officers finally separated the brawlers. Whether the car was actually wrongly parked remained open in the police report.
