Thuringia: Employees do not put up with theft

Jena (dpa/th) - Employees of a company in Ottendorf in the Saale-Holzland district were tired of the fact that diesel was repeatedly stolen from them. They lay in wait on Saturday - and were successful, as the police reported on Sunday. In the late evening hours, a suspicious man drove up to the company premises in his car and filled it up - as well as canisters he had brought with him. The employees caught the 42-year-old and held him until the police arrived. The man had to leave the stolen diesel and criminal proceedings were initiated against the alleged thief, according to the police.
