Erfurt (dpa/th) - In an apartment in Erfurt, a man threatened a 28-year-old with a knife and stole his wallet. Police forces then surrounded the house on Wednesday and searched the area for the alleged perpetrator, the police said. There was initially a suspicion that the man had holed himself up in his apartment on the ground floor of the house after the crime. Special forces from the State Criminal Police Office were also deployed. Instead, the alleged perpetrator fled unnoticed. According to the information, he is already known to the police. It is said to be a 21-year-old.
The 28-year-old was unharmed in the incident. Police did not release any further details on Wednesday. The investigations are ongoing.
