Erfurt (dpa/th) - They were brand new and not yet delivered: 15 police vehicles were destroyed in a fire in a car dealership in Erfurt nine years ago. Two other police cars were damaged in the fire. The police suspected arson.
On Wednesday (9:00 a.m.) a trial begins at the Erfurt district court in which a 30-year-old man has to answer for arson. He is said to have set fire to the 15 vehicles with an accomplice who remained unknown.
