Thuringia: Three lottery millionaires came from Thuringia in 2022

Suhl/Hannover (dpa/th) - In Thuringia, three lottery players became millionaires last year. A total of 21 players reaped major prizes of more than 100,000 euros, as a spokesman for the Thuringian State Lottery said on Wednesday. The Nikolaus special draw in December alone made two Thuringians millionaires. Across Germany, 187 new Lotto millionaires were counted last year, as the German Lotto and Totoblock (DLTB) announced on Wednesday in Hanover. A year earlier it had been 181. Last November, a Eurojackpot player from Berlin received the highest lottery prize ever achieved in Germany of 120 million euros.
