According to a paper made available to the German Press Agency in Erfurt, the admission deficit is 3,900 people and must be compensated for. Other federal states would accommodate more refugees from Ukraine. Thuringia has to accommodate 2.6 percent of the refugees who continue to arrive from the Ukraine.
A spokesman for the State Chancellery confirmed that the government held a switching conference with representatives of the districts and urban districts on Thursday to accommodate refugees from Ukraine. Some municipalities had already signaled in the past that their admission options were limited or had already been exhausted. A spokesman for the Ministry of Migration said on request that additional capacities are currently being sought, which could also include a hall in Hermsdorf.
