About a year and a half after her divorce from Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Melinda French Gates is said to be in a relationship again. This is reported by the US celebrity portal "TMZ". Her boyfriend is said to be former Fox News correspondent Jon Du Pre.
The site also shared a photo of the philanthropist and Du Pre, said to have been taken back in April. In it, the two can be seen at a basketball game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Boston Celtics.
Du Pre is a former correspondent for Fox News. He worked for the right-wing conservative US broadcaster in the 1990s and 2000s, and is now an author and, according to his LinkedIn page, also a specialist in strategic communication. As "Page Six" reports, he has three children from a previous marriage and several grandchildren.
A look at Jon Du Pre's Instagram page is enough to see that the journalist is a real jock. His photos show the 63-year-old playing golf, hiking in the mountains, jogging on the beach, competing in triathlons and other competitions.
