2023 will be a good year to oppose the General State Administration. It will be the year with the most places called to date to work in the public administration.
According to the BOE publication on January 27, a total of 27,509 places will be called. Of these, 11,471 will be free entry places and the rest internal promotion.
This public employment offer, which already incorporates changes in the selection processes, contemplates 13,157 positions for the General Administrative Corps, another 6,474 for the Management Corps of the State Civil Administration and 4,086 for the General Auxiliary Corps.
In addition, it includes 2,352 places for the AGE's Corps of Auxiliary IT Technicians and another 1,440 for entry into the Administration's IT and Systems Management Corps.
Of all of them, 2,088 are reserved for the quota of people with disabilities, 7.6% of the total.
Thus, among the positions offered, the General Auxiliary Corps will offer 4,086 positions and 13,157 positions are for Administrative Officers of the General State Administration (AGE).
As reported by the Treasury, the calls are divided into 12 selective processes through which Subgroups A2, C1 and C2 can be accessed.
In view of the 2023 call within the State administration, the following requirements are required:
The call for competitive examinations, both for open access and internal promotion positions, must be carried out within a maximum period of four months from the aforementioned publication in the BOE.
The Official State Gazette details in its article 3.3 that "the exercises of the selective processes for free entry and for the stabilization of temporary employment of the General Auxiliary Corps of the State Administration and the General Administrative Corps of the State Administration will be held the same day and at the same time.
Therefore, the two exams must be resolved simultaneously. For this reason, temporary workers will not be able to participate in the two calls and it is expected that all awards will be resolved within a maximum period of one year.
The examination for the opposition to the General State Administration consists of a single exercise with two different parts with a maximum duration of 100 minutes.

All questions will have the same value and a failure means subtracting a third of a correct answer. If any of them is left blank, it is not counted.
