Eduardo Casanova (Madrid, 1991) has spent almost half his life in the world of television and cinema. He is just over 31 years old, but it was at 17 when he shot his first short, Anxiety, but on that occasion as a director.

That occasion was not the only one, he continued directing some more shorts. However, the general public often remembers him for his role in the Aida series at just over 14 years of age.

Since then on the small screen he has been seen in different types of productions with great success such as: Gym Tony, Paquita Salas and Dorien, among others.

For the Netflix platform, he has recorded La casa de las flores, Someone has to die and Once upon a time... but not anymore.

Since 2007 Casanova has also regularly participated in various film productions. Titles like Chuecatown, The spark of life, On the summer side, My big night, The sixth student, Lord, give me patience and America's girlfriend are part of his most recent works as an actor.

A few days ago Eduardo Casanova and actress Ángela Molina attended Pablo Motos' El Hormiguero to present La piedad, the latest film directed by the young actor.

"I am very happy to be able to deliver the film to the public, which is who it is for. I have to say one thing: the movie is strong, it is different, but the film is made for the public, especially for the public that likes my type of cinema. It is not a mental straw that you sit and do not understand anything, it has an understandable narrative and I dare say that it is funny. I encourage people to go see it, do not scare the shit out of you, go see it Casanova said.
